Aged 60 he is a Hampshire Gardener.

Richard has always liked TVRs and when he decided to start racing he wanted a race-proven car in an established marque series.

 

Still in his early racing career, he never raced till 2009, proving that it is never too late to start he would put Goodwood as his favourite circuit as it is an iconic circuit and those great sweeping bends

 

The Griffith is much as it ended the 2010 season, with the bodywork repaired following a last race coming together although it is now yellow

 

The fuel injected 5 litre Rover V8 engine is mated to a T5 gearbox and produces around 300 bhp for its 950 kg. It is a conversion from a 1993 Griffith road car and was built by Tony and Marc Hockin to race from 2005.
